Figures Armored

Just bought 2 Ironman figures of E-bay to use the bodies for 2 customs I'm gonna make.
I always had the principle of using Joe-parts only,but with prices going thru the roof I've changed that principle.
Here's 2 ideas I have,I'm still thinking 'bout the colors.
Ideas are welcome,maybe I can get inspired

Btw,does anyone know if the head attachment of Joe figures is compatible with Marvel ?
I still have to wait a couple of weeks for these to arrive,shipping from Hong Kong...

man, those are both awesome concepts. the transparent red on the iron man figure is too cool to paint over, i would try to preserve that. for the war machine/CC maybe a metallic grey or gun metal with a clear blue on select areas, with a 3rd color for detailing?
whatever you decide on, these are gonna be winners !
you will probably have to hone out the head hole to fit the marvel neck posts.

I do want too keep the transparant red areas,was thinking on doing a partial phasing figure.
What colors are concerned,for the warmachine I'm going with metallic blue and light metal grey.
As for the wraith,I'm still thinking...

Finally received the figures from China on friday,and got to work almost immediately.
This is the what I made of the mercenary wraith using the Iron Man body.
I went with silver and brass colors,wich I think really work on him.
I kept some transparant parts to give the ilusion that he's partially fazing.
First I'd like to hear some comments on him before posting this on the finished board....
