Hi there!
This is my second custom, and as I can't see Hasbro releasing a 25th Hit & Run any time soon, I decided to give it a bash myself. Hit & Run was one of my favorite figures back in the day, as you can probably see in the comparison pics, he's in well played with condition! After my Ripcord custom, I learned a hell of a lot working with "Green Stuff", I only sculpted cargo pockets on Ripcord, and was a bit more adventurous with this custom - I found it a very steep learning curve. The hook on his belt is strip styrene. I used a lot of base figures on this one: Cobra Viper - upper, lower torso/upper arms Comic pack Duke - legs Comic pack Shipwreck - lower arms (cut to fit)/left hand Mainframe (no such person as Dataframe!) - head/right hand Para Viper goggles Duke grenades from bandolier x 2. Like an idiot I cut the arms off Shipwreck before realising I could have used Mainframes'... oops. I intend to use Hit & Runs' original accessories, as I feel they were perfect for the original, so no need to change now! I will just add a new strap to the duffel bag. I have base coated him with black spray paint all ready for the colours. Wont get to finishing him 'till after the holidays, so let me know what you guys think so far. Cheers! Man, this is going to look solid! Nice work with the green stuff and I love the parts choice for his head.

Cool, that should come out nicely. Great job with the green stuff. I've gotten some parts of my own together to try and make a Hit and Run custom, hopefully after the holidays I'll find time to paint him.

Thanks guys.
I can't wait to get him finished. I'd normally stick as close as possible to the original figure, but in this case I'd have to use the dreaded Duke arms, and I hate them that much it just wasn't a runner. I opted for gloves too as I felt that a guy that rappels that much would probably need them. Thanks again! |

Crikey! He's a beauty mate! I probably would have used the TF Duke arms, but that's about the only thing I'd have changed. NICE WORK!!!
