This is a side project I am working on and will be gradually done over time. The project is the creation of a vintage style o-ring Shooter from the Joe Declassified comics. For now, all that is complete is the sculpt sheet. The design and line work was done by Derek "Hendercrazy" Henderson.
I've been playing with the colors and they are still a work in progress. I've seen many differing opinions on the correct colors. I've decided to use the colors as they actually appear in the comic. I figure they aren't being altered by the darkness because the Cobra Troopers who appear in the same panels have their classic colors unaffected by shadows. The 3D model work has begun as well. More updates to come. Last edited by Falcone; 05-20-2014 at 07:10 PM.. |

The only issue I would have is with that pony tail. Unless you're doing it as a separate insert, a Vintage figure couldn't have a sculpt detail with an undercut like that...

Wow, love this.
To Nova's point - you could always make the ponytail a sculpted detail on the head itself. Basically get rid of the separation of the ponytail from the back of the hair. .... |

Also...if you're looking to actually have this figure produced, I would suggest trying to color match V1 Grand Slam or Rock N Roll...their Dark Green would be appropriate for this figure...

I forgot to add, a few details on the model will be different from this sculpt sheet. The pony tail won't have a gap and the hands will be a bit different.

Updated the colors. After viewing more panels it seems Shooter's uniform is in fact green.

This is the near completed 3D model (not my work) for Shooter's sniper rifle.

Shooter? I don't even know her.
Stalker with a Scarlett head? Or put a female head under Stalker's cap and hair. Use the head from V13 and the body from the Ultimate Battle Pack (v11). Dremeling the head and inserting a female face would be tough though. Last edited by ShockVal; 08-17-2012 at 04:36 AM.. |
