I have to admit...I'm a fan of PTE vehicles now. I've been picking these up at my local Big Lots during the Joe draught of 2012. Also, out of frustration of Hasbro ever doing the classic mid- to large sized vehicles and playsets.
I picked up the PTE Main Battle Tank as a suitable update to the MBT Mauler. I love the turret that seats two tank commanders, perfect for Heavy Metal and maybe Dusty or the desert colored Steeler. Although its not motorized like the classic or the MOBAT, the treads are still functional and roll. I used a few cans of Testors "Afrika Braun" spray paint, took apart the tank and this is the end result. I'm waiting on some Mauler decals from Cobrastickers and will post the final product soon.

Nice work! I love the PTE vehicles, they're more to the 1/18th scale then the Hasbro stuff is. I have tanks, troop carriers and more tanks! lol

Nice looking work so far. The only drawback that I can see is that is a Chi-Com Tank. Otherwise, it's a good stand in, and will look great stickered up.

Very nice, sir.
PTE vehicles are some of the best toys on the market due to quality, affordability, and availability.
