Ground Pounder Power Armor W.I.P.

I am posting this as a W.I.P. in hopes that it will keep me on my toes and make me finish it. I have too many unshown WIPS that are just collecting dust. So keep me working guys.

Ever since Hawkeye posted that he got the prototypes for the power suits I have wanted to make one or 20 into power armors. I am going with turret head look for two reasons, I like symmetry, and why does power armor need a head?

The body and legs were quite easy to take apart. They are mostly screws and light gluing. The arms are entirely plastic welded so I haven't gotten them apart yet. I am priming them in krylon flat black.

It goes back together just as easily.

I need to built the turret mount, but this is how the main gun will sit.

I want to keep the mods simple so I can complete this quickly. I don't want this to become another project in the bottom of the box.
I want him to have a pack of some sort on his back. Any ideas?

It took a couple tries but I got the ball and socket mounted. The hard part was getting it to sit low enough to look solid, but high enough to allow movement.

Looks like we both were thinking the same thing on modding it for Joes. On mine I raised the shoulder sockets up so it has more range of movement and I also replaced the head with one from HALO. I still need to swap out it's weapons and pick up some decals before I can get back at it and get it done. Just waiting for my payday.

This first one is going to be a fairly straight forward repaint. I will take a pic tomorrow of how I openned up the top of the cockpit so a joe fig will fit in.
