Hi All,
Just want to share a work in progress that's been keeping me busy. It's a monster dio that I have been working on. Can't give think of any other details to give you guys aside from they're three parts and they're modular... Will post more pics once finished... thanks...

Very awsome dude. I just started on my first big Dio. How did you go about the sand? Did you mix it with glue and spread? or use something else?

I first created a big mush of wet newspaper with glue, then topped it off with sand, also with glue. Then topped it off again with some dead fall, best to do this while it's still wet.

AutoPilot, I like the way the building looks. The interior is interesting. Looks like you have a hallway, nice. What material did you use for the walls and stairs?

A little trick for creating laying sand or earth on a dio piece: mix Elmers glue and water with sand (or dirt), you want the mix to be the consistency of yogurt. Then pour the mixture over the surface. Let the mixture dry 24 hours. The water will evaporate and then the glue will dry, bonding the sand to the surface and itself. This works also for dirt.
