When I was a kid, Major Bludd was always one of my favorites, guys with eye patches were just cool. He was always my battlefield commander for the Cobra forces, and because his helmet was so much like that of the generic blue shirts, he was their default leader.
The three different 25th style figures that we got were decent updates, but I was still annoyed (like many were) with the lack of articulation in his arm. This little work in progress fixes that arm and gives him an updated look that's a little more appropriate to lead my POC/30th Cobra Troopers into a battle. At the moment the arm needs a little tweaking to make it fit a little better. Other than that it just needs paint and I'm done. If anyone's got any suggestions I'd love to hear them. I'm happy with most of the parts but I'm not sure I'm 100% sold on the web gear. Any ideas? Elbow Joint, Shock Trooper Hand Legs: Steel Brigade (30th "Variant") Dog Tags: Major Bludd Bandolier: Steel Brigade Last edited by Tucker; 02-07-2012 at 10:48 PM.. |

looks great so far. the arm especially.
I might use the 30th viper lower legs so the pants look less bunched up at the top of the boot, but what do I know? or I even like PoC recondo's lower legs too, but what you've got so far, and having seen your other stuff, it's going to be hawesome. are you planning on keeping him close to his original colors or going a whole other direction? Not a bad idea, but those lower legs have that little extra piece near the knee from different knee pads on the viper. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Looks really good. I like it all, but think he needs maybe a few more pouches on his lower torso/ some better webgear.

Hmmm... Its a little snug but I had this kicking around from YOJOE.COM | Snake Eyes.
I think it's a little bit of an improvement, but I dunno yet... |

I think it's a little bit of an improvement, but I dunno yet... from sgt. stalker v13/duke v42, or would that be too busy. that torso is rad so it might cover it up too much or make him too bulky, but it's a little reminiscent of the blue shirt web gear and if he's going to be in charge of them it might make sense.
