The first and hardest part of the project so far has been finding tires the are the right size and that look close to the originals.
After buying a couple of 4x4 trucks I finally settled on tires from a Ertl JD riding mower with floatation tires on it. They are very close to the correct 1/18 scale size. The next thing I purchased some .030 thick polystyrene on line from a model railroad site. I then started building the lower section of the vehicle. The plastic can be cut with sissiors or knife and you can drill hole by holding the bit inyour fingers and turning. This where I am currently Thanks for looking!
