I'm going to admit, when GIJoe the movie popped up, and MU popped up, I chose MU. as a kid, even with gijoes, I was still a bigger marvel fan. sold all my gijoe collection, save a container with some parts, stands, and weapons, and started building a great MU Collection that I am proud to say contains the rarest of the rarest MU and 3 3/4 Marvel scale Jems.
But MU's Punisher Still SUCKS! if youve read any comment I make on Toyark, I will always parrot the fact that despite giving us a awesome MU series, and fantastic GIJoes(I praise the Pursuit of Cobra line), We have gotten 3 LAME Punishers. So now I am making one of my own, and I want to take the 3 punishers I have, and combine them with GIJoes to form the best Punisher figure ever made. But I need your help, Hisstank. I need to suggestions on what would fit a fantastic Punisher figure. I dont need to hear about Weapons, cause if it exists, Punisher would use it. Here is my rule with this punisher though 1 : I will not paint, because I admit I totally suck at it. my painted figures always end up blotchy, and sticky, and I cant seal and primer worth anything. so the Upper to Lower body will have to be MU. that limits it a little, but anything else I am good at As for the type of Punisher I will make, I am hoping to make MAX. Meaning I'm hoping to find plastic Trenchcoat with Trenchcoat crafted arms, and black pants, or tshirt arms with black gloves and cloth/leather coat. I'll post the results of my creation in this very thread, making it perhaps a community effort. If people have parts they wish to donate, I'd take them as well. hope to hear from you all soon

You might find the RoC Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes very useful, since he has a trenchcoat and the arms match.
The Iron man Movie Nick Fury can be really helpful too, since it has a cloth trenchcoat. Actually, with those two figures and the black MU Punisher i think you can do a pretty cool Frank. Out of curiosity, what's wrong with the Punishers? I saw the black one and looks ok (weak on the accesories, tho)

well the problem with the that mold is, while the head got better for the black one, it suffers from a weird knee joint that actually turns, and his hands and head are HUGE. cant really grip anything. The third Punisher, utilizing the Nick Fury mold, only has one hand for clentching, and that things grip is rounded so guns fall out of it. its head also sucks.
thanks for the info on the coat, I looked up snake eyes but his coat has a big hood. I'd get the fury but TRU still has it for 25, as does Ebay, and thats the only thing I want out of that. edit : Other thing that always angered me about the punisher figures. no back hole for packs and such

ok. after looking at paris pursuit snakeeyes, I have to say, its the best figure for what I need to do for my punisher.
so heres the parts i'm going to put together once I get them Target Jim Lee punisher - Upper and body and Abdomen for Skull shirt, cutting off lower body at the belt line. Drilled hole in back Wave 3 Punisher - Head, Black Belt to cover up sliced body part Paris Pursuit Snake-eyes - Arms w/ hands, Lower Legs and lower torso, cutting off upper body, Trenchcoat if Cade Trenchcoat fails Cade Skywalker - Trench Coat POC Shock Troooper - Might use his POC hands since I like the wrist articulation. but thats a maybe gonna need a good adhesive to keep him together. I can get a new Jim Lee Punisher from Target today, since they have a gigantic Abundance of them. that way if I screw up I wont lose my own punisher. I"m hoping the webgear from other joes will fit him. Paris Snake-eyes will be a chore to get now adays.

I was watching the Punisher Warzone movie the other day and I got an idea. My idea does not include a coat, but it is a start. Use the Wave 3 Snake Eyes and take the webgear and head off. Use the second MU punisher head and the vest from the Eel figure from ROC. Unfortunately the vest would have to be painted and I am not sure of how the head would fit on the body. That was my idea, but whatever you want to do.

I don't know if you have this punisher or not but I'd use the head, its my favorite. I'm not sure the torso would work with joes though. Ironically when I did this dio the only two figures I took pictures of in it were this Punisher and PP Snake Eyes. If all you need is the jacket and arms I may have them for you in a scrap box. Send me a pm.
