Well i've allways wanted to improve my X-16 Ghoststriker, it's an awesome toy very well molded and detailed.
Something never convinced tome was the scale; recently i bought a F-16 chinese toy in 1:24 scale for $13, mi first idea was to make a team mate in the skies for Ace, but the F-16 was too slim so i decided to built a Mig-29 but when i saw the Su-27 made by SuperFlanker i knew i need to have one. That's when i decided to superzise my X-16 without disconecting or uninstaling the electronic lights and sound system that still functional in this pretty cool aircraft. Well this is my goal... And this is how it looks today... I'll show more photos soon explaining all changes to be done! |

If you're going to go for scale, you're probably going to have to throw everything away bar the cockpit. I can't really see where you could add spacers in other than perhaps one small one behind the cockpit and forward of the wing, but really the whole thing needs to be scaled up, so you'd need to chop the wings off, lengthen the body, reattach larger wings, and probably increase the size of the elevons.
Actually looking at it, it's a rather well done scaling down of the F-16. |

Is this just for fun or because you reeelly need an F-16 in that scale, if its the latter then check out BBTS as they are taking pre-orders on Bluebox's new F-16...
1/18 Scale F-16 366TFW 389TFS Enduring Freedom - Elite Force 1:18 Scale Vehicles If its just for fun then I am interested to see what you do.

Just sell that one and buy the Bluebox one.
For detail, the x-16 carries alot of it and its quite sturdy. |

I did it really quickly, looks like a 3 year old kid drawings!
that´s what i think can be enlarged without messing too much with the original model and the electronic parts |
