I was wondering what other figure lines utilize the same articulation as the 25th Joes. I believe the newer Star Wars do (but am not sure because I don't have any to compare), as well as the new Indian Jones figures. Do these interchange well? Like, without having to dremel down any joints, etc.? I'm always looking outside of the Joe line for stuff to use for customizing in the future.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the SW or Indy figures have anything close to the 25th articutation. They are compatible as far as size for head swaps etc, but less joints and T crotches make them painfully obvious as a different line as far as I'm concerned. Marvel Super Hero Showdown figures are the same scale and have very similar articulation, but that's the only line I can think of. Anyone else?

SOME of the new SW figures have the upper body and lower leg articulation of the new Joes, but the waist/hips are still FUBAR. That takes a little work, determination and imagination but can be fixed.
As for the Indy figures, I dont have any... but from looking at them in the stores... same as the SW figures. I know that most of the SW heads have a larger neck post and thus a larger hole in the base of the head. to fix this, use the hot glue / putty method to fill in the hole around the joe neck. Going the other way means dremeling out the joe head to fit on a SW body. |

Some of the parts I have used from Star Wars include: heads, arms (both upper and lower), gloves/hands, feet and the occasional accessory. A lot of SW figures have the same style ball joint for the lower arms, so they're pretty compatible. The heads usually require the "hot glue gun" trick, but work great after that.

Those WWE Build 'n' Brawers swap well with Marvel Super Hero Showdowns and you can use their lower legs on 25th Joes.
