Anyone know of a good place to buy them loose.
I've got a few sites that offer LED spot lights but I'd like to avoid breaking down something if I can find loose LEDs. Fireflyed, I'm hoping you can help me out. |

have you tried the online electronic parts stores? I have used both edmund scientific, digikey.com, and allelectronics.com.

That's what I'm looking for actually, sites with names I can look up. Radio Shack pretty much sucks around here for pieces anymore.
Thanks, man. Edit: Well, I found some outta Japan. Which means at least I know they make them... now just gotta find them locally. Edit again: Duh, went to eBay, 50 for 4 bucks. Not great, not terrible. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 12-25-2010 at 03:00 AM.. |

Sorry the second edit didn't get there sooner, distracted by boobies...
Anyway, yeah, boobs, I mean LEDs... 50 5mm T1 3/4 LEDs for a about $7.50 shipped. So, hopefully most of them will work and you all will see the results whenever I get my lazy ass motivated. I'm still a little sad about Radio Shack's local shop. They were a great nerd place way back when. Now it's all tea cup pigs and RC cars. Thanks for the link, Puckman and the advice, esg. It'll be something to remember in the future. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 12-25-2010 at 03:15 AM.. |
