I have custom hands that I want to put onto a figure. One hand fits perfectly but the other needs to be cleaned out a bit. What are some tips for dremeling out the hole for the arm without taking too much material away? How can I assure the hand will fit and not just fall off?

use a bur bit smaller than the arm, don't stress too much about making the hole too big, if that happens put some hot glue in the hole and rotate the hand while it cools. Once cool, pop the hand out and trim an excess glue.

Wow, I never thought about hot glue. This could help me out greatly with some future work I am planning.

I would trim down the hand a bit and avoid dreaming out the arm.
