Or at least try it on a piece of junk plastic first with crazy glue on it. Don't ruin a good vintage piece.

i dont know if its possible to remove super glue, but the ways to remove normal to severe sticker residue are baby oil followed by rubbing alcohol for normal to tough sticker residue and goo gone for insane sticky dry crusty yellow residue.
ive only had to use goo gone on one of my restorations, the snow cat im currently working on. the stickers were so caked and yellow the baby oil couldnt soften it up. i let it soak for 24hours but it needed something more. baby oil and alcohol has never failed me before. try go gone maybe.

I used to have the same problem when using super glue, i use LocTite super glue now and there is never any white residue after use. You can even buy a bottle with a brush , you use less and it is super quick drying, sticks and drys instantly. Holds even when the figs get bashed about.
as per the other dont know just paint it?

You could use acetone, but just run it under water every 5-10 seconds before it has a chance to start eating the plastic. Just stand next to a sink with the water running while you do it. Also, I'm not sure how it will react with the cape fabric just get a bit on the tip of a Q-Tip and work on a small section at any given time. The other route that I would take is getting a toothbrush and just rubbing it a bit with that.
Hope that helps! |

The way I get rid of it is to paint over the white stuff with clearcoat.
