How does one achieve that weathered powdery/dusty look? My paint apps are clean but they lack this detail. Mythic also does a very good job of making figures look dull and non factory. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...-kamakura.html Is it powder? Pastels? What? |

Basecoat followed by some very light and careful drybrushing I imagine.

I cannot speak for those guys but try Tamiya Flat Base X-21 and water it down to a wash on your base coat & dry brush white.
Practice on some parts.

yeah, fiddle around and practice man. dry brushing and washes are no different then faux painting on walls or any object for that matter.

lol i know man.. you were in a dream i had last night man, well not you but the name and it was supposed to be you, and you were like i got salads boys, fresh salads.. and you had a box of salads haha.. i have no clue man.. dreams are funky. few weeks ago i had a dream that was supposed to be major blood, monkywrench, dealer destro and uman lol.. well it was supposed to be them guys anyway lol.. and we were at a toy store..
