Swords, sheilds, axes, spears? I want to outfit some knights and squires and the like, and I want some good sources. Any help would be appreciated!

If you don't care, then sure. Another option would be to pick up some of the better sculpted Papo or Schleich figurines. They're roughly 1/18 scale, and 99% of them are based on real medieval weapons. A bit pricey just for the weapons, but it is an option.
Making your own would be the ultimate, but that would mean researching the real stuff, and using math to get the right scale. This is evidently very hard to do for the big toy companies (and even the small ones), but they're starting to get better. Good luck with your Knights and Squires!
... Wait a minute... Knights and Squires??? Can we get a peek???

Historically accurate is pretty damn hard to do, some weapons would be pretty damn hard to pull off and have the figure hold. That my opinion.
I also dont go for Historically accurate in my fantasy customs, I like them to have larger weapons, all part of the fantasy feel. Larger then life weapons, larger then life heros and villians.
Again big nod to the ninja master for what he does in this scale, which is pure awesome, but you might want to give some of our weapons or hunterartworks a try, i think you may be happy with them.

When someone asks where they can get weapons for Knights and Squires, I tend to think they're referring to something more real. Besides, I don't see where Josh mentioned fantasy in his question. If that's what he wants, then fine. I was only offering my opinion, mixed with fact, on what Josh asked about. That, and I'm not trying to sell him anything.
So Dave, what you're saying is, since you like your stuff oversized, you (SDS) make them that way??? Maybe that's why your Conan sword is a bit bigger/longer than it should be, huh? Thanks for making things to your liking. I hope everyone else out there likes your version too. But then again, I'm probably one the only people who give a shit about this stuff. And as long as the majority buys what you offer... yeah.
Seems to me like (no-brainer here) the standard should be true scale, with oversized pieces being an option. Just like Marauder's guns - they look nice, but they're too big for a true 1/18 scale. If I wanted oversized weapons with all of my figs and/or customs, I'd buy a crap-load of those readily available parts from knock-off companies. But that's not what most people want from what I've seen, especially as customizers. Let's face it, you want your shit to look right. And we all know the concept of how one little thing/detail can "make or break" your custom. THAT is exactly why I make my own stuff. I know it's 99% accurate, and no one else is going to do it for me.
It's a shame really, because you guys have the ability to be sooo much better than the typical big toy company that doesn't care about this stuff. And personally, I wish you would!
