HI all, I have been attempting to start on Customizing Joes, i really love this line... Anyways, my first custom attempt was going to be ZAP, I found the Perfect head, its Briggs from the SW line. The head is a pretty good look for Zap, but the head does not fit....I know many of the greats have used SW heads, but how do you get them to fit 25th necks? Is there a line of heads that are totally compatible (VvV maybe). Any help would be greatly appreactied...Plus i have many bodys for and gear to start my customs....Take a look.

If the holes are too big, you can just fill them in with green stuff, sculpy, etc or get a glue gun, fill the head with hot glue and then put it immidiately on the neck post(which u should put vasaline on before u mount the head) and let it cool. Which ever method u use, just trim off the excess material.

the SW methode i use is much simpler than it sounds...take the SW fig whose head yo want to use and cut the neck ball off...then drill a 1/18th hole almost thru it...test to see if the ball fits over the joe body you want to put it on, if not hollow it out a bit more with the drill bit, if so then super glue it in place and trim if need be...now your SW head can pop on and off like normal without fail...

I believe this head already has a hole. Its just too big for the post. I have used sculpy before, it doesnt harden, but it keeps the head on there. I dont play with them so it falling off is not an issue.

The way that I use the SW heads on the Joe neck is to follow this 'how to' http://www.trigatecreations.com/foru....php?topic=9.0
Believe it or not, this really does work. |
