I'm looking to swap two cobra trooper hands onto Crankcase, but I keep breaking the stem coming out of the hands (into the forearm). Any suggestions? I'm using the "boil and pull" method, but it seems like the water's making the hand stem soft, too...
Also, anybody swapped Crankcase's hands with anybody other than the twins? Thanks, e

never tried the boil method. try TURNING WHILE PULLING. for the tighter ones use a little spit then turn while pulling. and don't just yank the thing out, slow steady pressure. hope that helps.

The slow turn and pull works best. Dont boil, as it weakens the stem also.

I thought you had to split the forearm in half to be able to remove the hands (not that I've tried it all, just going by that dissassembly pic that was posted a long time ago)

Yep or hot water from the sink in a small container and let the arms soak for a few seconds works too.

Thanks for the great tips; I'll show some pics if I get the swap done soon...
Anybody swapped Crankcase's hands or have a suggestion? I've seen the twins, but it looks like you have to use one from each, and I'd rather raid just one fig...

I like to fill a cup with hot water then microwave it for a minute then give a quick soak to the parts I need to swap.It works wonders for me.
