Hi, just want to ask where I could buy the rubber gasket from the legs of ME G.I. Joe, I have several that needed replacements and also the screws. Thanks in advance.

I hope this hasn't been answered before, and if it has, that y'all take pity on me...
Has anyone swapped the upper arms on a 25th HISS Driver before? Can you just boil'n'pop, or do you have to crack the torso? Specifically, I'm looking to give Desert Assault Major Bludd two sleeved arms (I'll swap a right hand onto it so it's not just two left arms). |

Well, the option I'll sometimes use is to cut the injected shoulder piece and take it off the shoulder and swap that way. I can't remember the last time I cracked a torso and it wasnt annoyingly loose afterwards.
If you use loctite super glue gel, you can just drop a spot of glue, pinch and rotate the joint. Sometimes, you can use this method to get a shoulder whose plastic matches the color you want so joint rub isn't so bothersome. Last edited by GI Guppy the third; 08-18-2012 at 10:44 PM.. |

You mean the "slide a blade between the shoulder & its joint" method? Never tried that before. Always afraid I'd end up gluing the joint shut, even with rotating while it dried. :-/
Has anyone tried boil'n'pop? The joint plastic doesn't seem that hard, and pictures of some disembodied 25th arms showed not a huge stopper on the inside... *shrugs* |
