That's how I did Scrap Iron as well to keep the slot for putting his visor on. I wish the helmet on Scrap Iron fit a bit better but that was the only head I had with a scar on it.

Holy crapola! Great work man! I can't imagine all the hard work it must've been to sculpt out all the extra plastic from insiane the helmets...(if that's how you did it). If they're custom made helmets from molds, hats off! ; )

The helmets are basically just hollowed out heads. The hardest part was finding heads that work in the hollowed out helmets, cause some were very tight like Barbecue's.

Nice job. I was kind of surprised Hasbro didn't make some of those removable helmets in the first place with the newer figure line.
