I've made molds and casts of mostly six inch scale heads. It really is a pain in the arse and time consuming. I can't fathom doing mass orders for people so I can understand long turnaround times like Vortius. I mean, he's honest and upfront about it, so I have no qualms ordering from him with the understanding that it's going to be a while.
My last Angel Forge order took a bit longer than prior orders, and when I attempted to contact them multiple times I didn't get a response. That's a bit more annoying to me than Vortius. Whenever I've sent VC an email inquiry I've always received a response in a relatively short time and when a skirt in my last order was casted too thin and tore, he sent me a new one a few days after I contacted him about. Honestly, I've no real issues with any of the few castors currently out there. And a lot of respect for the service they provide.

I have ordered from all of these guys, never had any probs, Starwarsgeeck mostly, always delivered for me, I buy in spurts, multiple items and most of them have tossed in an extra head or item, I had one bad experience 10 yrs ago wher I paid up front for a custom part I made n never got anything back, dude got run off the internet with a bunch of people’s money, I’ve done some casting myself and it’s not easy and hugely expensive, but I have a ton of casts for future customs, and will continue buying, hopefully without any of these problems..

I'm still here, lol. Thanks for all the shout outs! I've been closed to make new molds and remodel my shop. Things had become unbearable and I've been closed longer than anticipated due to unexpected happenings. No worries though, I return on July 7th 8 PM CST. I will probably be blasted that night, so I'll see how it goes for this one man factory.
And yeah, It's hard dirty work like everyone says, but I sorta signed up for that when I majored in sculpture. What am I going to do, get an office job, lol. If your at Joe Fest, come by the table in the Azalea Room, table 102! |

Your welcome, I have a bunch of your stuff and as I said, you’ve always delivered as promised and great quality, I think some people are definitely harder to satisfy, that’s not to say they didn’t have problems, but from my standpoint knowing what it takes to do this kind of stuff it helps me to be understanding stuff may take time, anyway Great that you’ll be back, I will be ordering from you soon, after you get settled in LOL !

Looking forward to AVACs opening. I just wish someone had a cast of Cross Country's vest. I have a head but no vest.
