As many of you may be experiencing, one tends to accumulate a glut of Storm Shadows and Snake Eyes. The SE can easily be utilized as fodder or bodies for other characters, while the SS figures tend to be too ninja and white specific. They also tend to multiply, especially the ROC and similar Ret SS. The 30th and Ulitmate SS are just too good compared to the ROC buck, but it is still a very functional as a generic ninja if not for being too white.
Has anyone Rit dyed them into red, grey, or black ninjas? Can one just wash the figure very well, then pop them whole into a steel mesh basket in a rit dye crock pot? En Masse? DO they require a sealer afterwards? Any advice or recommendations welcome. I need more ninja mooks! |

To answer my own question, a ROC SS can be successfully dyed, it seems that using acetone really helps:
