I purchased these incredible dio buildings from an eBay seller outside of the US and the package didn’t quite hold up during shipping. I’ve been trying to contact the seller to figure out what materials were used to make it so I could try to buy some and make repairs but he didn’t disclose the information. I need your help to identify what materials were used to construct the buildings, what adhesive, and what paints do you think were used.
When the item was repacked once it made it to the US, not all the broken parts made it into the new box. I’ve uploaded a few pictures to give you and idea of what it is and I can upload more if requested. I made enough minor repairs to fix two of them but the third is done for. Here is the picture of what is looks like when not broken And here is what I received Here are some of the other pictures

While I can't help you specifically, I am guessing this was the seller?
https://www.ebay.com/usr/petia62? Best of luck. Maybe there are clues in the other listings as well. |

Is it not just styrene? It's hard to tell physical properties from images. Is it porous? How heavy is it? Is it compressible?

The way all the parts look broken, it almost looks like porcelain....but that's just crazy. Probably some sort of thick styrene.

Yep, that's definitely the seller he bought from. I see the sets above in the user's "completed" listings. I wrote a message to petia62 as a prospective customer asking about durability and what it's made of. I assume the seller is trying to prevent copycats and that's why there is no mention of what the materials are in any of the listings. Perhaps the seller will be more responsive if there is a prospect of more money coming in...

Any guesses on what type of paint was used? The brown rusting has a dull/flat look and feels chalky. And the base coat is smooth. I am assuming these are sprayed but are they airbrush or from a can?
