In a thread discussing various Scarletts (and in just a quick search for Resolute Scarlett fixes), many people mentioned removing the Resolute Scarlett hair and putting it on another head (Resolute Baroness, 25th Lady Jaye, ROC Scarlett, etc.).
How exactly is the hair removed? I can see on some figures it does seem to be a separate piece, but I don't quite see how people are getting it off and reattaching it. Thanks!

You have to force it.
Blow dry it on high for about 1 min. This will make the plastic soft. After you blow dry it pull the hair as hard as you can. Reattaching just involves using a good glue like locite super glue.

Or boiling water. I haven't tried the hair on that Scarlett yet but I tend to have better luck/ easier time using boiling water.

I use cups from Easy Mac fill it above the fill line, throw the head in the water and microwave for about five minutes. Remove from microwave, pour out the water and the head should be nice and soft, then carefully pull the hair away from both sides of the head and then pull away the middle and go from their.

I've always used water for this. Although I thought you were supposed to avoid getting it to boiling.
I put a coffee mug in the microwave full of water for 2 minutes, drop whatever I want to soften into it for 30 seconds, and then reposition, remove, or do whatever I'm going to do, followed by cold water. I only have one Resolute Scarlett head so this is going to be risky, but I think I want to take that nice hair and put it on a face that looks better.

I usually get it to boiling, though you then have to be careful not to scald yourself. I've just tried removing and replacing too many joint pins on six inch DCUC figures and it really makes a difference in temperature on how easy it is to accomplish. Though with easier things like popping off a head or hands I usually go the hair dryer route.

Do the hair dryer.
It's quick and much easier than water. If it's not budging just heat it up more. Use it on high.
