Self-explanatory. I’ve been using E3000 adhesive to glue holsters and pouches to Marauder John’s vests. I was curious to see what everyone else was using.

I haven't done much gluing of MTF parts yet, but I use Loctite Control Gel for most of my gluing needs; I hear it's also a popular choice for MTF.

For the weapons, I generally use Plastruct Bondene. Works like a charm.

what chewy said. i've actually spoken with MJ in the past and asked him what he recommends for this and he said any crazy/super glue type stuff will work.
i've used a few glues and gel super glue works fine. i get a pack of 4 at the dollar store. if your careful you can put just a tad on there and it will hold and you and if your lucky you can pop it off later if need be. |

If you're looking for a permanent bond, then I suggest the cheapest 4-pack of super glue you can find. I usually buy whatever the brand is of the black & yellow super glue at Wal-Mart.
The reason I say the cheapest, is because the more expensive brands seem to have something in them that helps deter gluing your fingers together. LOL! The cheaper super glues are like, if you get a drop on your figures, you're gonna remove some skin! So, just be careful. A few of other tips: (1) I shave the little "rivets" off the leg and boots surrounding the plug hole. These tend to make the holster/pocket stick out just a bit from the leg/boot; (2) I usually trim the end of the stem so that it doesn't bottom out in the plug hole. I want the back of the holster/pocket/sheath to fit flush against the leg/boot, which is another reason why I trim the "rivets;" (3) When I glue a holster to the leg, I have a small flat-tipped screw driver that I put in the holster to flatten out the back side against the leg for a better bond. Same thing with a knife sheath. (4) Speaking of knife sheath, this is just my preference, but for unique characters that I really like, I typically buy the fighting "knuckle" knife and the large knife sheath. The large knife sheath is a little more sleek and doesn't look as bulky as the stock large knife sheath. Jason |
