This is a pretty creative concept. I love the inventiveness here on the ol' Hisstank.

Incidentally, Zica's Adventure People figures are going to have magnets in their feet for just such purposes. It sounds like the plan for Eagle Force to have a mixture of a magnet in one foot, and traditional peg hole in the other.

I'd be careful with stainless steel. If it's high-quality SS it won't be magnetic. Only cheaper, low-carbon SS will work with magnets. It's actually a good way to test SS quality.

Is it too late to cancel your original order?

Just something that might help in your endeavor here would be to use set screws
Then you wouldn't need to cut and file anything down and you would be able to remove easily with an allen wrench. Might even solve your vintage dilemma, in that you can get them in many different diameters. Hope this helps you out momaw nadon |

Get some 52100 "chrome steel" bearings instead of stainless (they are highly magnetic from what I've read). Here is an Amazon option for $4.45.

That leg plastic is so brittle. I still think the little baby magnets held in with poster tack is the way to go for those guys. For my own purposes, I'd only being looking to maintain vanilla standing for vintage guys if at all, and the baby mags with tack work just fine for that. That said, I still may be a few 1/8" dia for testing. Thanks! |

This here is another great idea. I'm watching some 3/32dia x 3/32 length, but they aren't available right at this moment. I hope they're magnetic enough. And I need to verify the price.

Not sure if I have a solution for that, but if anything comes to mind will pass it on. |
