I was looking for a guide on which parts to trim to fix the 2006 Vipers from the Viper Pit set. Just had a crotch break on one of them, and hoping to save the rest.
I remember reading someone had posted a photo guide somewhere, but I might be mistaken. |

No idea where the guide is.
Replacing the o-rings with looser ones helps, too. They were using crazy tight o-rings at the time. Though that alone won't prevent breakage. Those damned remolded thigh pieces ruined the set. They won't even safely work with the original Viper waist, either. |

You basically need to file down the underside of the groin. The neckball can be done, too, for better posing.

Two of my six unfortunately cracked at the piece of plastic that holds the head in place on the torso, so I'm going to leave the heads for now. |

Thanks guys, I just replaced the O-rings and filed the hell out of the under side of the groin. They're a lot more mobile now, legs sitting deeper into the body, and I don't feel any tension moving them.

You just straight-file the backside of the cod-piece, carefully, until it is no longer protruding back into the t-bar.
