Hi, I'm just wondering what are the best paints to use when customizing the vintage o-Ring Figures. I know that Acrylics are fine, but what about Spray Paints with enemels? Would that be fine too?

Enamel paints don't hold up very well if used on O-Ring parts. They don't dry very well and can leave what you paint sticky. Acrylic paint is best all around and can give you the best results. If you must use spray paint, stick with acrylics as well...

Are there's a certain brand that I should go by? Currently I'm using one that causes that "matte Gritty" look once it's dry.

Now what about those "model" paints? Seen them in some craft stores near me.

I've only just begun dabbling in painting, but the Testors Model Masters acrylic paints seem to be working for me so far. Plus I live close to a Hobby Lobby, so they're easy for me to grab.

I use Testors Model Masters Acrylics and Citadel acrylic paints. I've also used Tamiya Color acrylic paints as well but found them to be too expensive. I've gotten great results from these brand paints...

Now what about clear coats? Krylon Matte or Glossy? Or just one of those testors clear coats?
