That is an important question! I noticed the same thing at the Walmarts in my area with respect to Krylon Paints. By the way, I have found all these posts extremely helpful already! Thanks a lot for the support, I really appreciate it

I agree that Krylon Fusion works very well on most plastics.
For whatever reason I can't get any type of paint to stick to the POC Style Vamp MKII If anyone has suggestions let me know. I may try airbrush next but have to strip an unsuccessful coat of primer first.

The yellow parts are Rust-Oleum yellow, and I did a light Rust-Oleum clear coat. I got the paint at Lowe's, and I used Frog Tape to tape off the seats and interior.

For me, I much prefer painting in details. I do not like painting large areas.
My only tip is be patient and don't cheap out on paint brushes. Use good ones or you run the risk of bristles falling into the painted surface.

Did you use any primer first or start with Rustoleum? Thanks

I would spray them outside, and then let them dry inside under a ceiling fan. I could apply the 2nd coat about an hour later.

I want to contribute something, but I'm not really a customizer, so I will say that Scotch tape is a good way to non-chemically remove adhesive residue. Stick a little piece over the residue, sticky-side down, then pull it away; a little bit of residue will cling to the sticky side of the tape. As you repeat, larger and larger patches of residue will cling to the tape until the tape is gunked up. Use a new piece of tape, then repeat until the adhesive is gone. Then you should need little more than water or maybe Windex to clean the surface--no alcohols or oils needed. Works on anything from plastic to cardboard.
