These are my very first two decal applications...ever...and I used Bad Mother decals. They turned out pretty well, I think:
I still need to seal them with a clear coat. On the red figure's black sigil I cut the clear center of the sigil out to try to let drying occur faster and let out any air bubbles that may otherwise get caught in there, but the cost was some spreading-out of the sigil which you may notice on closer inspection. That's all on me, not Bad Mother at all. I also had a set of red sigils in this custom order and I was going to use one on a custom stinger driver, but the 2-step printing process messed up on the red. The white base layer was pretty badly offset from the red top layer resulting in a pretty nasty double-image or "white shadow" effect. It makes them unusable on non-white surfaces. So I am stalled out on that one at the moment, which is a bummer because that's the one custom that I made this order for in the first place. I sent Bad Mother a message asking for a reprint of the red ones, and we'll see how that shakes out.

Bad Mother sent me some replacements for the red sigils, so I'm back in business. Here are the results:

I just figured I would also post the following two things, for posterity:
And yeah, I received good product and good service, so I'm pimping them out a bit. I'm considering doing a custom-ordered set of low-vis aircraft markings from Bad Mother for some custom GI Joe Black Hawks next. It's THAT GOOD.

Zap, he's done a few different vehicle sets for me and they're all great. I love how if you can find it, he can make it.

The only thing that could make these any better is kiss-cutting the sheets right up close around the decals. Not that it's going to happen, but I can dream...
