Hmmm...
Does anyone know if the knees from Destro v14 (and v18 which is the same mold) would fit the 50th Destro? I don't have either of those versions to test with and the Quick Kick knees are probably going to be impossible to find without blowing $20 on a full figure...

I didn't have time to try it last night, but maybe the 25th Shipwreck knees would work. I think the comic pack shippy has black knees.

I dunno, man...off the top of my head, only considering currently easy to find figures, maybe 25th/50th IG or 50th Outback knees. The recent Marvel Legends (Universe) Black Panther maybe too. I personally don't have a huge problem with Destro's knees, so I haven't given it much thought.

Did you by chance have the opportunity to try this Shippy knee swap? That would be a much more affordable option if it works.

It doesn't work. The knee doesn't fit on the thigh. You can't close the thigh pieces together as the upper part of the knee is too bulky.

I'm glad that I tried your idea this evening. It worked great!
(That broken Quick Kick figure has been at the bottom of my parts tray for years, and I never would have thought that I would use the knees from that thing for anything useful.)

If I can find one in the fodder bin, I'm going to try putting 25th or POC Crockmaster's knees on Destro. Has anyone else tried this?

I have been curious about it but my Croc master is packaged up. If you find one please do give it a go. Last night I tried the knees from the recent comic 2-pack Thor (the one with the pervy grin). The rings/loops/whatever are too wide to fit in the leg groove, but trimmed down they might be workable. They are the right length and a pretty good shape. Just too large a diameter on those ring things.

I swapped on the ninja dojo Roadblock legs. They give him good height and bulk.
