I know this isn't the biggest scale project, (just starting out), but I've seen some pics of people's collections where they've added some flames accessory to the jetpack of the 25th Air Trooper that actually raises it off the ground a bit.
I see there's something similar on the convention exclusive grand slam figure, and heard some mention of a boba fett figure, but I'm not sure what people are using. So what is out there to create a jetpack flame/base for the 25th Air Trooper? thanks in advance... |

The flames from the convention figures and from other people come from a Boba Fett, figure, but he's not available at retail anymore(ebay is a option). Another alternative is the flames that come from a R2D2 figure, that may still be available at retail.

Well if you can find the Boba Fett figure that had the flames.. it would be probably the easiest.. of course upon saying that, I'm sure they are hard to find due to that fact and everyone else has bought them up except online somewhere. Or if you have the money to spend.. you can try and track down the Convention GS and SD figures and hope to get them fairly cheap.
Last but not least... I think there is another star wars figure that has flames that may work.. Not sure if it's a destroyer droid or R2.. I know the two link together, but one of them has flames that could possibly work. I'm not fully sure on that as I haven't tried myself, nor seen it done, I just remember seeing it one day and thinking it may work. Best of luck either way.. and let us know what you come up with. *Edit* Slim is a much faster typer than i am.. when I started this there were no other comments. LOL But we both came up with the R2 tip.

I tried this with an R2 I found at Wal-Mart. I'm probably the worst modder ever, but I managed to pull it off just fine. It looks amazing. Even my wife, who hates my toys, says it looks cool. Thanks for the inspiration.
