Hy, I don't think it will work with a razor blade because the blade is made out of thin steel and it would probably break when you atempt to grind it. Maybe you could use aluminum sheet from a beer can instead or something similar. The metal i used is the steel rod that is found in the rubber core of a windscreen wiper. It's also breakable because it's made out of steel, but having a thikness of ~ 0.8mm makes it workable though...
