I have a Tiger Sting (same thing) that I need to remove and replace one of the wheels on...the wheel is melted from the previous owner. How can I remove the wheels without breaking the axle or doing something drastic?

I'm going to take a shot in the dark on this:
If I recall correctly (from when I was like 11)the metal axle is "keyed" if you will; it has little "butterflies" stamped into the ends that retain the plastic wheels. Now I think I recall removing the axles with wheels by removing the assembly from the body of the vamp and then gripping each wheel in one hand and twisting them in opposite directions. I can't recall if this destroyed the plastic wheels or not, and as stated above if this is even the right toy. That said I've got a really good memory... Helpful? I hope so... |

My cousin removed the wheels from mine with a metal john deere tractor toy playing crash up derby, but that might fall under drastic.

They just twist off, just turn the wheel you want to remove. Or just switch out the whole undercarriage and wheels. Both are super simple.
