Has anyone taken one of these apart yet? Specifically the latest Captain America/Steve Rogers/Punisher/Grim Reaper/etc. I'm wondering if the torso has to be cracked to remove the arms. Also, is there a way to remove the lower torso at the waist swivel without cracking it as well? They appear to be constructed out of harder plastic, so I doubt the boil & pop method works on them (like it does with Star Wars figs), but I figured I should ask before doing something unnecessary.
Thanks for any insight/advice. |

Most MU figures I have messed with hqve to be popped if you are wanting to remove the arms and such. Or at least the upper arms and to get to the lower torso.

The arms and shoulder joints are very very soft-especially if heated..it is better to heat them and cut at the seam..if you crack them they have a habit of deforming or being scarred at the arm if using a vice. I haven't messed with the waist swivel...
the newer female buck has a different arm system like the newer star wars where they pop out when heated rather than having to crack, but the shoulder joints can tear if not handled properly. the newer female torsos also pop of at the top of the abdomen rather than needing cracked. X-23 is an in-between system and is unique....she hulk and the rogue type buck are heat and pull....IIRC

Figures using the Sub mariner 2 buck have to be split.
but its pretty simple seeing as the harder plastic makes it easier to pry apart. Cut along the seems.
