Which do you think would look better?
Coast Guard white with the red stripe and logo on the hull and a gray deck and white cockpit housing or Black hull with a green or gray deck and cockpit area and some Joe stickers. |

i dont know what the tru boat looks like.. but i would dig the black green or gray colors personally. have you ever seen the world peace keepers boat? i never seen a tru one but if its the true heros crap they are busted, you should look into the world peace keepers one at big lots, for 9.99 you cant beat it price wise an realness wise..

I like both ideas.
I can tell you the deck is already gray on the boat, so it may be easier to just leave it gray. I can also tell you that the camo paint and number on the hull are painted on rather thick. If you don't sand the paint off on the hull, you will still see the outline of the old paint if you just paint it without sanding. Good luck with your custom. |

I've been wrestling w/ this myself as I have a spare ARAH Moray I want to customize.
I'm leaning towards a SEAL boat like the Mark V Spec Ops Craft - Mark V Special Operations Craft | MK V SOC but don't really like the plain vanilla grey colors that it needs to be stealthy on the water in real life. I'm leaning towads Coasty colors like the WHALE someone did here a while back, plus I've got a Cutter for from the senior officers 3 pack who's just sitting around w/o a WHALE to drive.

Not really. I actually kind of like the boat. It looks kind of like a Moray, just not as cool. Once you clear all the crap off the back, like that stupid turret and the lightbar thing, you wind up with a lot of room to work with.
I've even been toying the idea of drilling/cutting out and building a depth charge launcher near the back and a hoist system for the night landing. I am also going to add a radar dish and antennas and so forth but, for right now, that back is serving as a landing pad for a trouble bubble. Oh and I've already discovered that the crappy turret I pulled off the back can be ripped apart and rebuilt to hold the Weather Dominator. Finally Destro can sit down while unleashing the power of weather gone mad! |
