as far as names go, i've always liked the english navy names from the age of sail.
something like "dauntless", "intrepid" or "indefatigable" |

Considering they practically live on an aircraft carrier, that is the one thing they do well. Navy stuff.

Your blueprints are very cool. Thanks. I really look forward to this carrier now as the blueprints made it more exciting. I want to build one now. I can imagine the challenge of trying to make it as detail and cool as possible but yet make it durable enough to play on and move if need be.

I think I'm gonna start updating this in the morning. Updating at night chops a good half hour off of my work on this project.

I love following WIP's. Is that stuff itchy? I only ask because we used to use something similar to insulate flat roofs before covering them with rubber and that stuff was terrible. Anyway it seems to be coming along nicely, I can't wait to see it finished.

For names
Humorous= USS Porculous British= USS Resolute. (can't believe no one suggested this yet) Person= USS Joseph C. Colton (I don't thinks he's dead yet, but why not name the Joe carrier after GI Joe himself?) |

Good suggestion! That's near the top of the list.

Not really. I'm making completely straight breaks, so there's very little mess. I was using a handheld planer to see if I could make angles at the edges and that left a lot of mess. Extended Polystyrene is very solid throughout, meaning that it doesn't flake or float around. It usually heads straight for the floor once it's shredded off.
