Actually, I think it's Northrop colors, but you're right!

Very impressive work so far. I look forward to your updates and you've inspired me to finish up a project I started back in Sept that I put on hold. Keep em coming.

If I can find them, I'm gonna buy a few more. K-mart, fifteen bucks, comes with two shitty action figures. It actually turns and drops the hook. Not a bad deal. The back of the box shows that this same company makes an F-117 type aircraft. I'm gonna be looking for that. It looks much closer to the Stealth fighter than the old GI Joe Venom vs Valor ones did...

So, on a little sidenote, I compiled a list of the potential aircraft compliment of the USS Something... obviously, this is a potential list because there's a few I don't have and few that I'll have to build...
USS Something Aircraft Compliment XP-14F Skystriker x2 (I want at least one more, preferably 2) EA-18G Growler x1 Su-33 Flanker-D x1 [Su-34FN Fullback] x1 (This is another wishful thinking one) XF-30C Tuskegee Conquest x1 [X-30 Conquest] x1 (I saw a non-python patrol one finally) F-22B Raptor x1 [F/A-18 Hornet] x1 (Might not be as tough as I thought) [E-2C Hawkeye] x1 (I don't know how, but I've got some ideas) SH-60 Seahawk x1 [SH-47 Sea Knight II] x1 (If I can find one of those beasts again) Total 12 *The brackets denote that I don't have/haven't build this aircraft yet.

If you don't mind my asking, which project is that? I like to think of people sharing their projects as cynergy. It motivates you to keep going on yours!

This is taking almost as long to build as a real aircraft carrier.
I really like the build pics you're posting, I love how shipwreck is doing the building. |

So, I gave this some thought. I was thinking of outfitting my carrier with a few Rattlers painted in a Navy Gray scheme and renamed S/A-10 Sea Snake, or something. I wanted to make an S-3 Viking, but I think it would be cooler to use existing Joe technology to create a new Sub-hunter. What do you guys think? Maybe a custom Nimrod is in the future... for my Joe airbase. I'm gonna need to build a few F-15s first.

No I just meant that if there is a crane on an aircraft carrier which im sure there must be, it probably isnt yellow. But I like your pic and it makes sense although I didnt know Northrop built carriers. |
