My 2-pack Dreadnok ripper has a loose waist swivel so looks like I will need to take apart the torso and try to tighten it. Anyone have any tips before I start? Maybe there can be a sticky thread with tips like this for the 25th? I found this pic that may be helpful to others too:

Here's Hasbro's instructions for ripping your figures apart
1. Take anniversary figures head and legs off, so only torso and arms remain. 2. Use either corner of table or block of wood with 90 degree angle and place the torso side that has the parting line on corner. 3. Take a rubber mallet, or small hammer, and hit the seam on the shoulder, cracking it open like a walnut. 4. Sides should split allowing for custom arms to fit into joints, glue back together with super glue. Me personally I use an exacto knife along the seam (Usually start on one side near the armpit) Once I have a little bit of an opening, I'll slide a small flat-tipped screwdriver into the chest and start prying it open The sad part about all this is, it looks like there would be enough room for a screw and all the plastic that has to be around the screw to connect these parts. That's my only real gripe about these figures (From a customizing standpoint) No back screws |
