Playmobil added a series called Future Planet to the range:
PLAYMOBIL® Future Planet Cool stuff, I can post photos if required. Back in the day, I used Playmobil spacecraft to supplement my Star Wars figures and vehicles. I still have one of the Playmobil shuttle and the cockpit fits two Joes easily. I'd bet that the new Future Planet series is still good for Star Wars and Joe figures. |

I loved the Playmobil space stuff when I was a kid. I got nearly the whole collection from family members one Christmas. I wish I still had it.

I've seen people post pictures of plastic trees in this thread. It's a fun idea, but the only plastic tree I ever saw that looked truly awesome was Treebeard the Ent. Plus, these things can be expensive.
My advice? Buy a real tree. Get a low, wide pot to serve as a field of dirt, rocks, whatever, and get a cigar plant. Their leaves are the perfect scale for Joes, and it sure won't look fake! Here are some pictures I took in our old garden that was filled with cigar plants: Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of plant this is, but it looks great: That whole plant was in a pot the size of a cereal bowl, so even smaller ones work nicely for photos, but if you're looking for a full display, cigar plants are great. Once we settle down again someday I'll be buying some for sure. Maybe get one of those indoor little fountains to go with it, add some rocks from wherever... |

I just looked back through all 50-some pages of this thread without seeing mention of these, so even though there are serious scale issues, I'll post 'em.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Sunnydale Library playset: Charmed Attic Playset: (That one is a build-a-set; one piece of wall comes with each figure in the set). I also didn't see any pictures of the Matrix Chateau, though my internet's acting wonky, so it's possible there are pics of it in this thread and they just didn't load for me: |

Scooby-Doo Mystery Mansion:
Pee-Wee's Playhouse, in case you're writing a dio wherein everyone in the PIT takes peyote: One of my favorites, the Go-Bots Command Center: The bad guys had a black ship, but it was weak; no AT-AT legs and fewer features inside. It doesn't lend itself to much in the way of cool backdrop opportunities or dio usage. Sorry if any of these were posted already. I'm pretty sure they weren't, but again, ye olde internet's acting sluggish. Last edited by Monte Williams; 11-27-2011 at 10:19 AM.. |
