So it's not as advanced as some of you have posted but this is one thing that I'm currently using for my Joes. McFarlane toys, during the peak of the Matrix movies, came out with several figures that were pulled from scenes in the movies. The lobby scene of The Matrix was of course one of them and they produced a Trinity and a Neo. Both came with a backdrop (Trinity was running up the wall, and Neo is hand planting while shooting) and a 1/2 way destroyed pillar. They have these bullet effects in them to make them look like everything is getting shot to sh** which is pretty well done. I sold my Trinity and the wall piece on Ebay in a McFarlane lot but I kept the pillar as I always thought Neo looked better flipping in between 2 of them. Then I dismantled the Neo and it became Snake Eyes getting surrounded. Not sure what they go for on Ebay but here is a pic of what they look like.

I think the new Star Trek Tansporter room and Bridge Room will work great for a lot of dios.
Also I did a Red Rocket way back with the McDonalds set. I have 2 Deathstars which I originally used for Extensive Enterprises but am now slowly switching them to Stark Enterprises and the Baxter Building.

(I was also amused by Storm Shadow's position!)

I just picked up the Prince Caspian Castle on clearance from TRU for $29.98. With a few touched I hope to have an awesome Cobra or Destro's castle. But nothing too permanent because it will also have to work as Dr. Doom's castle if they ever get around to making him for Marvel Universe.

i remember back in grade school and high school when i was still playing with my toys i had this (what i thought was a) great set up using all sorts of different stuff. we had this 3 sport table, and i had the gi joe hq from 92 on the top with the jurassic park compound and the star wars death star bridge and prison situated around it. then underneath the table, i had the star wars endor door thing surrounded by the jurassic park compound fence as the entrance to the place. i believe i also had random gi joe and star wars computer and satellite pieces all over the place.
i really miss the days when i could have all my stuff out to play with. now it's all in freakin bins and boxes in one corner of the basement. i'd got plenty of different playsets which may or may not work well with joes, but i don't have the patience to take everything out and then try to remember how it all fits back in |

My grandpa had mad a old freaking doll house once when i was younger for my sister. She didn't want it so i modified it and made it so my GI's could bust through the windows and stuff was good fun for awhile.
