I'm looking for a VERY SMALL (need room for it and other figures on the small shelf I have dedicated for such) dio playset that would look cool as a setting for Mindbender/zombie creation/possible toxo lab feel.
A Frankenstein/brainwave scanner would be great; a table to strap down victims. A containment unit for zombies. It can be a whole set (unlikely) or even piece-mealed together. Any ideas? Amazon.com: McFarlanes Monsters Series 2 Dr. Frankenstein Action Figure Playset: Toys & Games there is also another older mcfarlane monsters playset... http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDY2/$(KGrHqJ,!igFC2Sz,jymBQynYJVupg~~60_1.JPG?set_id=8 80000500F http://thegalleryofmonstertoys.com/9...nk2playset.jpg another nice choice is the robocop cryochamber playset http://www.hisstank.com/forum/3970435-post714.html mighty world playsets and some stuff from pte or dio accessories from marauders gun runners could also help... they have some nice stretchers. last idea is playmobil stuff especially from top agents line like or http://www.e-shop.gr/images/EPI/ART2/EPI.00974_1.jpg also tmnt shell raiser with or without the wheels could be used as containment facility for zombies http://www.hisstank.com/forum/3960713-post711.html Last edited by triant; 07-18-2015 at 04:06 PM.. |

Thank you! I like those Mcfarlane sets especially.
Does anyone remember what those containment units/chambers were sold as? They were at TRU, and many people used them to hold zombies. I can't seem to find the right keyword to get them to turn up for me...

Around Christmas, for the last couple of years, Costco gets a huge stack of Maisto 1:18 vehicles. They are true to scale and joes don't fit very well without some modding but they are metal and run about 13 bucks. Depends what you want them for and what you intend to do. Goodwill and places like often have things like tonka, nylint, or plastic vehicles. 1:18 vehicles is a broad category-diecast models, action figure vehicles, tonka type vehicles, cheap plastic cars. Also, places like TJ Maxx, I bought a Bruder Land Rover. They are actually 1:16 but are a great base to build a custom from.
