I did not need two early 25th green Hawks.
I put one aside. He's my Hawk greenshirt. I turned extra "hawk" into anonymous soldier, which I did want. Just coloring it wouldn't be enough, but with a Grunt headswap it worked well enough: 1) Filed and colored extra hawk rank insignia to tone it down. 2) Put Grunt head on that body: he's now a grunt with a scuffed up uniform. 3) Colored spare hawk head with darker hair and scruffy beard. I'm not an artist, but at least it no longer looks like a hawk head. Put that head on Grunt body. Added helmet different from Hawk's. Bingo: extra hawk becomes anonymous low ranked soldier.

I just used the 7 pack Outback's body with Resolute Duke's head and Flak jacket. Also with the boony hat from VvV Crosshairs. He looks good, reminds me of Wet Suit from Marvel Gi Joe Special Missions #7 Ambush and Marvel Yearbook #3.

I love Snakeyes, but how many do we need? But I wanted more Cobras. Turned one of my extra snakeyes (se) into a cobra, using HISS driver, an extra cobra symbol, and finishing details from a cobra trooper. One step for one figure, two for the second:
1) First figure: Swapped heads of extra snakeyes and HISS driver. Unfortunately se head is too small to carve & too dark to color, so I chose HISS driver because his tall silver boots and distinctive chest plate distracts from this. I'm calling this new figure done, though I've experimented with various helmets. 2)Second figure body: HISS driver head is distinctive, so it is a good start on se body, but not enough to make him a cobra: he at least needed a cobra symbol. I did not have a cobra sticker, so I took an exacto knife to cut a cobra symbol from some packaging material and I glued it onto the new figure's chest. The dark color of the chest camoflages the glue. The head and symbol were almost enough. But how else could I make him look fully Cobra? 3) Second figure Legs: as a finishing touch I grabbed an extra blue cobra trooper and swapped half of a leg. This worked very well visually but badly physically: the yellow knife holder and kneepad perfectly killed the solid black "se" leg look on the new figure, while the se leg part is not distracting on the donor cobra trooper. Unfortunately the knee joint was damaged slightly. Maybe you'll find a better solution. The combination of the HISS head, cobra symbol, (and lower leg part) achieved my goal: neither figure looks like Snakeyes; both figures (all three figures) look like they belong in cobra.

This is a really simple kitbash and not so much using repaints as much as finding uses for the dozen Mindbender heads anyone who's army building the Cobra Island Defense Vipers winds up with.
I'm a little surprised I haven't seen it already (if someone's shown it somewhere, my apologies). Dr.Mindbender as a character has always been a good addition to Cobra, if a bit over the top with a goofy name, but I always had a problem with his choice to captain the Cobra skins team. The cape, even the purple pants, I can live with, but had he worn anything on top aside from just his 'suspenders', he wouldn't have been relegated to sitting in some vehicle when I put my toys back on the shelf. Enter ROC Destro, minus head and holster (for some reason, I always pictured the good doctor as one who still felt compelled by his oaths not to actually shoot people, even if he's willing to mess with their minds and such) with Dr. Mindbender's head and (optionally) his cape. Actually, I've grown to like the cape, especially since it fits under his shoulders and sits more like how it's always depicted in media. It doesn't emphasize Dr.Mindbender's 'mad scientist' aspect much, but it DEFINITELY makes him much more intimidating as a dignified, evil officer. |

Take the bodies from two RoC SRO Cobra pack (Destro), pop the head off and use the twins heads, use one set of the Baroness' pistols and add the assault rifle of choice for a VERY easy/no paint needed CG twins set.

New SRO 3-pack Sgt. Stone body with single card Sgt. Stone head. I would personally add the SPAS-12 shotgun from the upcoming Night Adder or the shotgun from the newest 5-pack Flint/HoH Flint as the weapon of choice.
