Airbrush question

I recieved a 50% off coupon in the mail and was thinking about finally investing in an airbrush kit. I know the basics but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what I should look for from a technical standpoint. Any recommended brandnames? Models?

I plan on using it both for my custom work and my artwork and I prefer using acryllic based paints but am in the process of starting to work more in oils for my artwork.

Also, I'm trying to keep from having to buy a new compressor and was wondering if a shop compressor with the pressure set low would be able to work with an airbrush. I worry about contaminants (fluids, dirt, etc.) getting in my paints.

Thanks ahead of time if it takes me some time to get back here.

Iwata Eclipse... They have been used for model car building, to full size car murals. they have been set up for use with Auto paint so they with stand a beating...

I use a compressor with a 5hp motor and a 50gal tank (the same one I use for working on my cars (up to 120 PSI). I use a regulator and drop it down to 10-20 PSI for the airbrush....

Google this guy... Craig Fraser, he's done some insane work on cars and he uses the Iwata....

I'll second Iwata. Something from the Revolution line would be fine, if you'll mostly be working on Joes. If you'll be painting larger items on a regular basis, then step up to the Eclipse.

Get a water trap for your compressor, and you should be fine.
