I'd particularly like to know if any of these 3rd party cast heads fit with existing 25A torsos without modification. For example, I'd like unique heads for Grunt, Grand Slam, Cutter, etc, but don't want to have to do any add'l modding other than painting. |

I was thinking the other day it would be awesome if we were able to compile a list of recipes that can go into a sticky thread of any and all joe figures people have made. I know I have used a lot of other people's recipes and there are some great recipes out there I haven't even tried but would like to.

As for BAT, the heads are designed to fit specific torsos, usually the most obvious one. Recently, I've been taking pics of the heads on the torso it was intended for and using that pic for the store.
In any case, the heads are easily modded to fit whatever torso you may intend. Look for a simple tutorial for my stuff later this month. |

Very cool idea.
Also on a side note, we at trigate will be getting back into doing cast copys of repro stuff. Any and all heads are up for molding, and repro heads will be 1.00. We want to do our part in helping with the economy and making things more enjoyable for the custom community. Only thing to keep in mind, is most of the product we make, we dont make for any one set torso. We have a lil How -to on making any head fit any torso...... You can check it out here... The repro parts will show up on ebay, just a side note I forgot to say.

You guys are a step ahead of me. I'm currently working on putting together a new website called Homemadejoes.com which will feature custom Figs of all types and their recipes.
I will be posting a lot of my work but I will be accepting any great work by others as well. Give me another week and I will have the site up and running.

I will be making and selling stuff soon as I figure out a good way to cast maybe you can give me some pointers. But the site is really going to be about information for customizes, recipes etc and of course I will put adds on the site for all the great resource stores already out there as well as offer my own stuff for sale. I don't want to compete with anyone per se especially not the Tank but at the same time I want to have a customizer specific site where we can do a one stop shop for tools, materials and information. Even though it will be called HomemadeJoes I'm also going to have sections for Action Figures that are not Joes. Thanks for the encouragement though maybe we can work together on promotions.
