So how do I remove paint?
currently, i'm working on a repaint job that the color scheme came out pretty awful. and the worst thing about applying a different coat or color is the "wrinkling effect" of the fresh coating. it's not a wrinkle acrylic paint that i use, i dunno. kinda weird. anyone had similar problem? this never happened to me before.

What type of paint are you painting on top of?
If you want to remove acrylic paint, there are several methods. I would personally recommend either sanding on parts that will take it, or very careful application of acetone with a cotton bud. Just take your time and test it carefully on any exposed plastic to make sure it doesn't melt it. Be very, very careful around the joints so that you don't fuse them. |
