I have to agree with you on this. Some times the devil is in the details and a gun that is less than 1/8th of an inch thick does not look right with a strap that is 1/4 of an inch wide. Or if the strap is made from material that does not look realistic (lanyard material). I have even gone as far as creating metal connectors which connect the straps to gun on, to create more realism. Finding the perfect material and scale though is trial and error, but items such as straps can always be redone. Has any one tried to make an adjustable strap for a 1:18th scale gun?
Ultimately though, it comes down to whatever the customizer is happy with, or what they like, of course. I've said that several times, in several threads. I'd like to think that everyone can understand that I'm not saying you have to do it this way or that, not at all. Just trying to get people to expand their skills beyond the figs - IF they care about it. Ripper, Ask and you shall receive... |

HAHAHAHA...
Trust me, it's happened. Right off the tables edge, straight down between the knees, and yet it's never found. But no, you don't need 1/18 fingers. Just tweezers and a good supply of obscenities to frequently yell out. |

I recently remodelled my old office and when I tore up the carpet, I found a bunch 1/18 scale D rings I had been making. |

I saw some hobby site selling a specially designed apron that is attached to your table and prevents that. I think it looks silly until I drop something.

I have read every post in this whole thread and I rarely do that, much less comment about it. This thread has been thoroughly enjoyable to read through all the way and I am not being a smart ass either. I have actually learned quite a lot about the original topic so thanks guys!
