I used an Indy figure for this exact same custom. I soaked him in really hot water first and just yanked the arms out. They came out pretty easily. You then have to use an exacto knife to cut a little of the connector at the end or it won't fit in the joe torso quite right.
I have found that all parts of the indy figures (including feet) with the exception of the upper and lower legs, and the torso can be used with joes. I have been buying a bunch of these lately as kmart here has had some clearanced for around $3.00 and the joes are $7.99 Good luck if you need anything more specific let me know. |

Well the arms Worked out
Thanks 4 all the advice u guys gave extra thankz to NightBird 4 the tips. here is what i got so far i need to get one of those lil caps that go on the center stick of the torso to keep it from bieng all loose i must have lost it if anyone has one to spare PM me i havent done anything to this Guy yet but put the parts i have togther to see how it looks ill have pics of him done once i get the rest of the things i need and get him painted up with his Mustache

I used the entire Indy Arms for my Keel Haul Custom. I do my arms than everybody else though. Instead of popping open the chest...I just run a exacto knife down the upper arm joint and cut the hinge. It goes back on and looks fine...but they can come off if you twist them. Ill try and post pics later today.
