The stickers can be easily removed by dipping in hot water, but it always left a chunk of sticky glue residue. What's the best way to remove that without hurting the old plastic?
Thanks! |

Goo Gone. Best stuff you'll use for this sort of thing.

Thanks for the advice. I was also wondering, is there a way to re-use those stickers? They seem to be in great shape. Any clear glue that would work, while not hurting the plastic?

Amazon.com: 3M 75 Repositionable Clear Spray Adhesive, 10.25-Ounce Net Wt. Aerosol Can: Home Improvement That stuff won't wrinkle the material, but it needs to be a very minimal amount. Maybe attach a WD-40 spray stem to control it for pin-point accuracy. Just be sure to clean the spray stem after each use. Also, once you spray it, maybe have a paper towel handy to dab it QUICKLY to remove any excess, then place your sticker, set it, and forget it! LoL. Seriously though, that stuff, or any equivalent should work as long as it says it won't wrinkle paper. You could also possibly try reproducing the stickers yourself on decal paper, or check out a place like cobrastickers.com for high quality reproductions of most stickers for Joe stuff. Hope this helps.

Good luck! That should work perfectly for what you're doing.
