Should I ever get around to finishing this Dreadnok base of mine, I intend to add smaller background details to flesh it out.
As such, I was pleased finally find the Imagination Adventure Airboat. [I tried to find a before picture from a catalog, really.] I'd imagine some of you have already seen it at Wal-Mart, its from the Pro Bass Shops sets. Bright yellow, goofy looking guy comes with it. I'm not done, but I figured I'd show off some of the early work. A fairly simple effort, but I'm liking it. |

Most of the painting is complete anyway. Now to figure out what else to do to it.

That is really cool. I like it a lot. I wouldn't mind doing something like this for myself.

Thanks, the boats only about 6 bucks if you can find them.

I don't know for sure what you might use, but some kind of screening would top it off. Also, since your weathering it up quite a bit, I'd suggest doing the same inside the blade housing as those usually get pretty jacked up on a real airboat. Also, one of the PVC Wall-E's had a beer cooler with it....can't think of anything more fitting.
Thanks for the head up about where to snag these. I'll definately be looking for one. |

A screen or netting would be pretty cool.
Yeah, I meant to brush up the prop before putting it back in the motor. I might yet, but I figure the motor might be the only part of the boat the Dreadnoks take care of. There's still the front decking to put back in, I'm thinking maybe a mounted gun of some sort up front. Of course, I want to avoid anything too large that'll throw the weight placement off. Hmm... |

Some sort of weapon on the bow and maybe some rope hanging along the side for docking.
What would really set this off, some sort of animal skull on the front. That would scream Dreadnok! |

Definitely a weapon of some sort and maybe a search-light for night ops.
